I have arrived and am in the process of unpacking and arranging my new Bag End. The trip was glorious though tiring. I hope to be back in the game soon as I miss all of you... and my Hobbits... so much!!

Love to all my dear kinfolk

3) Once the dust clears, perhaps we should have a gathering to help our friends who were hurt and lost things.  We could bring gifts to start them again as well as just cheer them on.  It is an awful feeling to be so violated.  A good party might help.

I am totally in favor of this!! Let me know how I can help.

Just a heads-up to everyone about Lotro security.  Recently, our kinsman, Calmegil, had his account hacked and things stolen from it.  He is recovering, but he lost a lot of non-recoverable items.

How terribly sad that anyone would resort to such tactics. I'm glad that Cal is recovering and thank you for the 'head's up'. *puts 'change LOTRO password on to-do list* (which at this time is longer than a Hobbit's grocery list!)

She is, indeed, a nice person. But I doubt you'd take advantage. I'm sure she's happy to loan the computer and we'll be happy not to lose you! Win-win!!

As always, dearest friend, you will be sorely missed. I'm a bit of a MIA myself these days as I make the move to Seattle. Come Fall we will all be together again.. and I can't wait to be out and about with you... saving our beloved Middle-earth.

This post seemed to answer a lot of questions we might have about the FTP changes coming our way.

Digger, count me and the family IN for that picnic at the Black Gates. We'll stuff ourselves in true Hobbity fashion (which means everything washed down with tons of hardy ale), then push our way into Mordor and proceed to kick all kinds of black land booty!!

FEAR US, MORDOR!! FEAR US!

I wish you the best in this endeavor.  I do hope you can reach your destination in a very safe and efficient manner.  See you when I see you

Bless you, my friend. Her arrival date is June 25th and Internet is already in place.. so I and my family should be back questing with our beloved kinfolk shortly after.

Moves like this give you a whole new chance to either change your stuffing ways or to .....  restuff with whole new stuff from the West where they have really good stuff to stuff with..  I bet you do the later cause I would.

Oh this story just gets better and better. Yesterday my mun (the lady who pulls Perigard's strings) went to her basement and found 4 or 5 inches of water on the floor. Needless to say she had a moment or two of very undignified hysterics, after which she managed to pull herself together and deal. It cost a bit, but the water's gone.

Man! Big people get so CRAZY when things go wrong!

Plans ongoing for a June 20th get away and a June 25th arrival at her new Hobbit hole. She has ALREADY ordered Internet access, so I and the rest of my family should be back questing in very short order.

And yes.. STUFF! Too dratted much STUFF! And she's already started to get STUFF in the new place.

Love and all Hobbity affection...

.... for what it's worth.... that I've played 'Runes of Magic', one of the best FTP games out there, and it was and IS great fun. It's a wonderful game with a lot of very cool features, and they come out with new content fairly often. So, maybe this won't be such a bad thing??

OK I've read a great deal of the information by now, and I can calm down a bit. I'll try to summarize the important stuff, as it relates to current players.

Thank you SO much for summarizing this rather startling development. (Startling to ME at any rate.. others may have seen it coming)

Frankly, I felt rather apprehensive when I read about this, but your explanation helped me feel a lot better. It doesn't seem so bad. And lifetimers like me get a decent perk.

I only  hope that this development doesn't mean we won't be getting new content. I SO want to see all of my beloved Middle-earth.

Again, thank you!!

I want to apologize for my absence of late. As many of you know I am preparing to move from my home in southeast Michigan to the other side of the country in Seattle, WA. Lately I've been going absolutely crazy with activities like traveling to Seattle to lease an apartment, ( http://picasaweb.google.com/rakshi.lady/MyApartment# ), and packing up an entire house in preparation for a June 19th departure date and a drive across America which will take at least five days.

In this process I've discovered that I have way TOO MUCH STUFF and that paring down one's life to make moving less burdensome is a stressful endeavor. I could certainly use a good Turtle Run to help relieve the stress and can't wait to get back to Middle-earth to quest with all of you again.

I love and miss all of you and will be on as often as I can until I get to my new time zone!

With all Hobbity affection always...

I have to tell you, O, that I very much look forward to future developments in this game. We have so much of Middle-earth yet to explore! And those of us who love Tolkien's world and work can, obviously, be very effective guides to Turbine as they work to bring it to life. I'm excited about the future!
